The countdown has begun for our Open House 2017! In two short days, we’ll be welcoming folks to our Marine Resources Center to celebrate the water and wildlife that call coastal South Carolina home.
One of the activities that we’re excited to offer for the first time this year is vessel tours aboard the R/V Palmetto, the largest of SCDNR’s four offshore vessels. Today, check out a sneak peak of what visitors will see on these tours as Captain Chris Brown highlights some of the main features aboard the ship.
NOTE: Due to the timing of high tide, we’ll only be able to offer vessel tours from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. So be sure to come early if you want to check out the Palmetto in person!
